When my son was about to start fourth grade, several of my mom friends and I all found ourselves grappling with the same question: How do we talk to our boys about puberty without making it awkward? Were there moments when I got embarrassed? Definitely. Did my son ask questions that made me laugh (on the inside)? Absolutely. But we got through it, and the experience was invaluable. I even plan to read it with my daughter in a few years.
